Weekend 1 round-up: Silverstone National Circuit

Equipe GTS – MGB / Equipe Pre-63 – Austin Healey
Team CarSafe arrived at Silverstone primed and ready to race the MGB and Austin Healey, as mixed weather provided a dry but greasy track.
In the MGB in the Equip GTS series, the team qualified 4th in class and 7th overall, placing them in a strong position for the race. Good pace and a strong drive saw the team finish 3rd overall and 2nd in class.
The Pre ’63 race in the Healey also proved successful, resulting in a 1st in class and 2nd overall finish. “A great weekend – it doesn’t get much better,” said team driver Mark Holme.
